Fund Raising

We envision our ministry for our Christmas tree farm to be the support of church youth groups, Christian ministries, Boy Scout troops and other non-profits through using Fraser fir Christmas trees as a fundraiser for their activities. This vision has grown from our deep gratitude for the beautiful piece of this earth with which God has blessed us. As good stewards of the land, we grow and care for Fraser fir trees with the latest innovations for their proper care. Here in the Virginia Mountain sun, the trees respond to this care with vibrant health and uncommon beauty. We pray that each tree will be a Christmas blessing to every person or family who brings one into their home.

By offering our trees to youth ministries and nonprofits at a very reasonable price, we provide a way for these groups to make a significant profit while engaging the youth in a very meaningful experience for the celebration of Christmas. We work closely with each group for the successful promotion and profitable sales of Christmas trees and wreaths as a way to raise funds. We help them involve the youth in the process by inviting them for a retreat opportunity to our 1901 farmhouse on the tree farm and giving them a farm tour on the growth, care and environmental benefits of Christmas trees. The youth can experience first- hand the beauty of God’s creation and learn about the care and nurture that brings a Christmas tree to maturity for the celebration of the Spirit of Christmas.

Dear John and Marty,

We purchased one of your trees through the Holy Trinity Youth program this year and just wanted to tell you what a wonderful "deal" it was all the way.

First, thank you for arranging to do this in a way that benefited the youth program.

The tree itself was probably the best cut tree we have ever had (25 years?). It was beautifully shaped, it barely shed through the entire three weeks we had it up, and it even seemed to accent our generation-old ornaments in a new spirit. It was the first time in many years that I absolutely hated to dismantle the Christmas tree!

Hope you can keep the arrangement going in the future; but, if it doesn't work out, I would drive to the farm to get my fresh-cut Rosser tree.”

"John,
Today I took down our first ever Rosser Family Christmas tree and took it to the curb. Honestly, it looked just as good today as it did when I brought it home almost a month ago. It was not dropping needles and I'm sure it would have looked fine for another three weeks. Absolutely the finest Christmas tree we have ever had! Happy New Year!"
